Family

The family has an uneasy task ahead of them – they must cope with the diagnosis, repel the attacks of people around, who often think that the problem is that the parents have not managed upbringing of their child. The families often tend to isolate themselves and to adapt the entire life rhythm to the autism diagnosis. However, it is very important to realize that it does not have to be like that. On the contrary, it is very important for mental health of all family members including the autistic person that the family do not isolate themselves if possible, that they do not give up their traditions and they could find balance between what is necessary and what brings satisfaction to individual members of the family.
